Publishing your own book -- especially the first time -- can be confusing for a lot of authors. Which route do you take? Who should you work with and trust?

In this video clip, I explain the two basic choices every author has to independently publish his or her own book. (I'll probably get some flack on this from companies that fall into the Route #1 category.) But I believe that understanding these two paths will give you more clarity and help you determine the best indie book publishing route for you.
